People's definition of love is very different. Some only look at it from a human standard. Are you left wondering what is love? Especially after your heart has been broken so many times. And you left with the feeling, " how can I ever love that deeply again"? We have to ask ourselves have we really found the true definition of what love truly means. Is there a difference in what men and women call Love and how God shows us what love is? I have come to find out that love applied the wrong way brings negative results. But, when love is applied the right way, it brings joy, peace, and happiness. But, there must be a foundation for this love, so I'll like you to take a look with me at scripture to explains God's love. Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. 1 John 4:7-11 NLT Now, this is love on another level than what we can even imagine. God asks us to love one another first of all because if we love in the way that God does, we show that we are a child of God for God is love. Love makes sacrifices for the right thing, God always reward true love, so that's why it's so hard to fake true love agape love. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. 1 John 4:12 NLT So stop trying to love your way and begin to love the way God loves us. It will bring a peace that passes all understanding. People want you to love them because what they are doing for you or have done for you, but God loves you even before your knowledge of Him. If you are having a hard time right now in your relationships ,your marriage, your children, this is a great book to read to help you better understand how different love is with each individual.
